Il est issu de la reconstruction et de la refonte des anciens trolleybus <strong>Berliet<\/strong> (notamment les mod\u00e8les ELR et PBR) qui constituaient le parc d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1940 et 1950. Ces travaux d&rsquo;ampleur ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s principalement dans les ateliers de la compagnie (CTEL, puis STCL) \u00e0 Limoges m\u00eame.<\/p>\n    \n    <p>Chaque lettre du sigle VBRH raconte cette histoire de r\u00e9novation : le &lsquo;R&rsquo; de <strong>Rejoug\u00e9<\/strong> indique le carrossage et l&rsquo;am\u00e9nagement int\u00e9rieur complet. La touche de modernit\u00e9 vient du &lsquo;H&rsquo; de <strong>Henschel<\/strong>, qui symbolise l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration de nouveaux \u00e9quipements \u00e9lectriques, plus puissants et fiables, fournis par cette firme allemande.<\/p>\n\n    <h2>L&rsquo;\u00c9pine Dorsale du R\u00e9seau<\/h2>\n    \n    <p>Ces v\u00e9hicules r\u00e9nov\u00e9s ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le crucial dans le maintien du trolleybus \u00e0 Limoges. Ils ont assur\u00e9 la continuit\u00e9 du service entre la fin de l&rsquo;\u00e8re VETRA et l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e des trolleybus R.V.I. ER 100 modernes dans les ann\u00e9es 1980. Certains exemplaires ont d\u00e9pass\u00e9 quatre d\u00e9cennies de service (en comptant la p\u00e9riode pr\u00e9-r\u00e9novation), marquant profond\u00e9ment l&rsquo;histoire des transports limougeauds.<\/p>\n\n    <div class=\"highlight-box\">\n        <p><strong>Patrimoine :<\/strong> Le VBRH est aujourd&rsquo;hui un objet de collection. L&rsquo;un des exemplaires les plus connus, le <strong>VBRH n\u00b0 237<\/strong>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9serv\u00e9 et est conserv\u00e9 par les services de la STCL, assurant ainsi la m\u00e9moire
